Common
install problems
Install fails: On
Window XP systems with Service Pack 2, and full
popup blocking enabled in Internet Explorer.
Temporarily disable popup blocking while
installing a Coon Creek Application.
Program fails on startup
immediately after the Coon Creek splash screen
appears: Open the Windows Control Panel,
open the Printers folder and right click your
default printer, then select Properties and the
Security tab. Check the following permissions
for the user logins you use: Print, Manage
Printers, Manage Documents.
Errors occur when program
launches. Re-run the downloaded install file and
choose the "Repair" option.
Scroll bars won't go away:
Use the Windows control panel and change the
large font setting to normal.
Get "Unable to establish
session" when first trying to access QuickBooks:

Make sure the QuickBooks company
file is the exact one specified to QuickBooks.

If you are trying to access your
company file over a network, the network folder
must be mapped to a drive letter.

If you have a QuickBooks login
setup, you must be logged in to QuickBooks as an
administrator.

QuickBooks must be up and
running unless you've permitted access when
QuickBooks is not running.
